TERROIR:
Our own vineyards in the villages of Asparuhovo, Troyanovo, and Dobrinovo located on clay and sandy soils in the Southern Black Sea Coast Region.
PROCESSING:
The wine distillate made from Muscat Ottonel ages in special barrels where it is left to develop its potential for 12 years. It is then transferred to maturation barrels with a holding capacity of 10 tons, where the blend matures for at least six months in order to acquire balance and harmony.
TASTING NOTES:
The 12-year-old rakia from the Burgas 63 Series combines a bouquet of fig and acacia scents with vanilla notes due to aging of the wine distillate in oak barrels, and its further maturation in 10-ton barrels, which lends this brand of rakia exceptional harmony and smoothness.
